Project profile

Electrical work coordinated around an active senior-living campus.

ElecTech began working with Country Meadows in 2011 and quickly became part of the organization’s construction team. Work included a major addition at the York campus and multiple projects at the Leader Heights campus in preparation for a larger addition and renovation program.

York Campus

ElecTech performed the electrical work for an addition connecting three existing buildings. The scope included relocating and upgrading the electrical service, installing a new standby generator, and supporting a new commercial kitchen and dining area. ElecTech also completed electrical work associated with renovations inside the existing buildings.

Leader Heights

At Leader Heights, ElecTech relocated the power company’s 4000-amp electrical service. The work required an overnight shutdown of the entire campus and close coordination among ElecTech, Country Meadows and the utility so power could be restored before morning.

Additional work included a new standby generator and design-team participation for an addition and renovation program involving a new entrance, kitchen and dining room.

Occupied-campus work demands planning, communication and a clear path to restoring critical services on schedule.
